Procedure for claims regarding Medtronic MiniMed insulin pumps and sensors

1. Claim registration
Please use the Diabetes Patient Portal or the contacts above to register an issue with your device or consumable.

2. Confirmation and instructions from Santis
After the registration and approval of the claim, a member of the “Diabetes Care” team will contact you as soon as possible to inform you about the next steps and how you will receive the replacement product.

3. Receiving a replacement device or consumable
If an insulin pump is being replaced:

Due to the need for training and configuration of the insulin pump, the replacement is carried out at the Santis office at: Sofia, 55 Nikola Vaptsarov Blvd., Building 1, Floor 1, by a trained employee of the “Diabetes” Division.
If it is objectively impossible to visit a Santis office in person, the replacement will be carried out in a manner additionally agreed upon between the parties.

If a sensor is being replaced:

You can receive the replacement sensor from a pharmacy that has a service agreement with Santis for handling claims or, exceptionally, due to the lack of a nearby location, it may be sent to an address specified by you via courier.
Our team will coordinate everything necessary with the pharmacy.
Upon arrival at the pharmacy, in order to receive the sensor, you will need to present an identity document to verify the recipient’s name.

At present, our team works in partnership with SOpharmacy pharmacies to ensure fast and timely replacement of sensors for which your duly submitted claim has been registered and approved, and on which your health and comfort depend.
